JoWooD Productions Software AG, a company listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange today announced a change in the management board. Board member Wilhelm Hamrozi has resigned by mutual agreement due to differing views of the company's ongoing strategy. His duties will be divided up among the existing members of the board. Andreas Wiedwald (45) who has been with the company for approximately a year and prior to that was responsible for finance and procurement at Infogrames Germany will follow Uwe Deisenhammer as Chief Financial Officer. Together with Deisenhammer, Wiedwald has over the last year optimised JoWooD's financial management as well as the company's organisational structure, which has enabled the strong growth of JoWooD. Having been a member of the management team since the IPO, Uwe Deisenhammer is leaving the company at his own request after two very successful years. He will now be taking over family business activities after the death of a close family member.

Company founder and mastermind Andreas Tobler: "I do regret very much that Uwe Deisenhammer, who has been with JoWooD as a valuable contributor since the IPO, is now leaving the company. Of course, I accept that for him, his family issues are a foremost priority. Luckily with Andreas Wiedwald we found a successor who is equally familiar with JoWooD's financial needs and who also brings substantial industry know how from his prior employment with Infogrames. Mr. Hamrozi's responsibilities will be taken on jointly by myself and Thomas Kirchenkamp. With these measures in place we will preserve continuity in all business areas."
